Mit GenuineWord können Sie mit der Qualität von LaTeX einfach Dokumente erstellen.
.SH DESCRIPTION
Einige behaupten ja, dass man Texte in LaTeX, einem sehr guten
Text-Satz-System, "programmieren"müsste.

Egal ob dass nun stimmt oder nicht, habe ich ein kleines Frontend zu LaTeX
geschrieben. Man tippt seine Texte in ganz normalen ASCII samt Grafiken in
ASCII-Art, und GenuineWord wandelt diese dann in LaTeX um.

So kann man Texte im ASCII-Format vertreiben und trotzdem die Qualität von
LaTeX genießen, ohne Nutzer, die nicht in der Lage sind, DVI-, PS- oder
PDF-Dateien zu betrachten.

Obwohl es GenuineWord noch an einigem fehlt (Fehlermeldungen...) ist es schon
sehr gut benutzbar, besonders da es an den deutsch-sprachigen Raum
zugeschnitten ist.

Herunterladen kann man Version 0.67 von SourceForge.
Enthalten in dem tar.bz2-Archiv ist auch ein Tutorial (howto.txt), und hier kann man ein kleines Skriptum über
verschiedene Internetprotokolle durchlesen.
